Who Was Greater: Mohammed or Jesus?

[note: I have, over the years, put together many booklets, publications, & DVDs about Islam: Two Faces of Islam are publications that contain many articles in which I quote from both the Qur’an & the Hadiths, from ancient & contemporary Islamic scholars]

Islam’s prophet, Mohammed, was to have surpassed Jesus, Christianity’s Prophet. This is what Islam teaches. Islam carries the doctrine of “No religion but Islam,” i.e. ONLY Islam is the ONE & TRUE religion.

Islam teaches “Lie to strengthen Islam” –Qur'an 3:28; 16:106; “Fight non-Muslims" -Q. 2:216; “Rape, marry, & divorce prepubescent girls” -Q. 65:4; “Terrorize non-Muslims" -Q. 8:12; 8:60

In 2 Faces of Islam # 1, I write about Islam’s god –Allah: the pre-Islamic deity, who was known in the pre-Islamic Middle East as the name for the chief god of the other gods.

In my writings I prove without a doubt that Jesus, not Mohammed was and is the FINAL world’s Prophet, the world’s Savior.

What do you, dear reader, believe? John wrote: “In the beginning was the Word, & the Word was with God, & the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him... In Him was life, & the life was the light of men...” -Jn. 1:1-4 NKJV.

Where do we find such wonderful/eternal things written about Mohammed (“M”)? We don’t! Of the 99 names for “M,” the word “love” is never found; not so with Jesus or His Father (1 Jn. 4:7-21 is John’s “love” chapter).

The teachings of Jesus carried morality to the sublimest point attained, or even attainable, by humanity. “M” taught revenge, murder, torture, et al. He even confesses that he needs to repent over and over because of his immorality. Whereas Jesus was spotless, without sin. So, who was the most moral?

The influence of Jesus’ spirituality has been rendered doubly great by the un-paralleled PURITY & elevation of His sublime Character – Superb! Surpassing in His sublime simplicity & earnestness the moral grandeur of ALL religious leaders, putting to the blush the great & powerful, the rich & generally admirable. He presented the rare/beautiful spectacle of a Holy life, so far as we can estimate it, uniformly noble & consistent with His teachings/principles, so that the imitation of Christ has become the driving force of those who love & serve Him. In fact, each born-again believer has been predestinated to be like Him – to become a perfect (mature) man/woman, to grow up unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ (Eph. 4:13).

On the other hand, the zealous Muslim strives to be like their prophet, hence unrighteous, unholy & revengeful. Read their books please.

Christianity, genuine/Biblical Christianity strives to be like Jesus, who loved His enemies; never once committing any violence against them – very opposite of “M.” Read the Hadiths for proof that “M” was a man who shed blood. His character was the antithesis of Jesus’. True Christianity presents to the world an ideal character.

Sadly, most “Christians” are not like Jesus. They reflect the devil! Jesus’ teachings, the gospels/ epistles are inspired writings. They are meant to inspire us to acquire the fullness of God. The N.T. teachings are meant to inspire the hearts of men, women, boys & girls with an impassioned love, not hate. While love is the N.T.’s theme, hate is not far away, for we are to hate what God & the Son hate. We’ve all read Eccl. 3:8, “a time to love, & a time to hate:” Ps. 97:10 tells us, “You who love the LORD, hate evil!”; “The LORD tests the righteous, but the wicked and the one who loves violence His soul hates,” -Ps. 11:5; Go thru the Bible, pick out those texts where love/hate are mentioned. Heb. 1:9 says, “You (Son) have loved righteousness & hated lawlessness...”

You see, the love of God was Jesus’ final Word in His preaching of His religion: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do,” Lk. 23:34. These were some of Jesus’ last words: FORGIVE! Can Muslims do this? Did “M” forgive his enemies – some, yes, others, no!

Jesus has an impassioned love for humanity. Even His HARSH/SHARP/CUTTING Words were meant to get the rebellious to see the error of their way. This “spirit” is meant to be carried on in all ages, to all nations, for all temperaments, & in all conditions. It is of the highest pattern of virtue, the strongest incentive to its practice; priestcraft needs it!

I see it impossible to hold up a man like “M” as a moral person. He was a pedophile to boot (read for yourself in their books). Jesus, not Mohammed, was & is the divine standard of excellence & a model for imitation. He was and still is THE LIGHT that shines into darkness. (read Sura 9:5 from the “Q”: read the Hadith (sayings & deeds of “Mohammed and His Companions”). The Bukhari Hadith (9 volumes) is the most read. [The Hadith refs. for “M’s” inspiration are: Vol. 1, nos. 1,2,3,4; Vol. 2, nos. chap. 16: (pg. 354), 544; Vol. 3, nos. 17, 829; vol. 4, nos. 95, 438, 461: Vol. 5, nos. 170, 462, 618, 659; vol 6, nos. 447, 448, 468, 478, 481, 508]

Jesus never threatened His hearers with violence if they did not accept Him & His New World Order, i.e. the Gospel. Not so with Islam: “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; & in the hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost.” -Sura 3:85.

Who will you follow – Jesus or Mohammed? There is a choice, your choice. If you are a Muslim, you too have a choice between the Prince of Peace or your dead prophet!
